Message	I have a POS '85 Bronco that I built up a few years ago. Anyway, V8, 302, Edelbrock intake, cam, lifters, carb, MSD ignition. Everything new, the plugs look like they are burning a little lean, yet there is exhaust soot all over the place. I'm hoping after I get done with the restore of my Z, that I don't run into anything like this or your pinging problem. I've spent forever trying to figure it our, local shops don't have a clue. I feel for u man, If I hear anything simular to your problem, I'll let u know.
